- from the "Welcome to ViewClix" screen, select the asterisk (*) button on the remote control 2 consecutive times
- arrow down and select "Forget Wi-fi Network(s)"
After that, the frame should display a message, "Wi-Fi networks have been cleared". Then press the OK button and the frame will reboot.
Here are the steps to "forget" Wi-Fi networks from the Slideshow:
- select the "OK" button on the remote control 3 consecutive times. The Local menu will display.
- from the Local Menu, select the asterisk (*) button on the remote control 2 consecutive times
- arrow down and select "Forget Wi-fi Network(s)"
After that, the frame should display a message, "Wi-Fi networks have been cleared". Then press the OK button and the frame will reboot.
If you are receiving error code 889: this is related to an internet glitch or an update to the network settings. Sometimes networks will update in the background without your knowledge.
Follow the above steps to forget the networks and reconnect to the network. This will resolve error code 889.
