ViewClix was designed so that seniors shouldn't have to do a thing if there is a power outage. Once a frame has been connected to a network for 10 minutes, it will save the network credentials.
Once a ViewClix frame is set up and connected to Wi-Fi and Internet, the Slideshow will start automatically after a power outage or being unplugged -- if these conditions are met:
- the Wi-Fi can be automatically reconnected (that's usually the case)
- no button on the ViewClix remote control is pushed.
The system has a time-out period of 2 minutes before proceeding to the Slideshow. Contact support@viewclix.com if you'd like to reduce that time-out period.
