Why is my frame offline?

Most commonly when a frame is offline, this means it has been unplugged from the power outlet and is off.

We recommend starting by making sure the frame is plugged in.

We'd also recommend making sure the automatic Sleep Cycle is enabled. This will turn the frame's screen off at a set time and turn it back on at a set time. If the Sleep Cycle is not enabled, the senior may think they need to unplug the frame to turn it off at night.

You'll find instructions to enable the automatic Sleep Cycle on page 17 of the ViewClix Operating Guide: https://support.viewclix.com/portal/en/kb/articles/helpful-links

Offline can also mean there is an issue with the network connection. If a network is temporarily down, the frame will continue to try to connect to the network as long as the frame is plugged in. When the network comes back online, the frame will then automatically reconnect itself.
